1. What this covers

This policy explains what data View collects, why, and who it's shared with. "View", "we", "us" refers to the operator of this Service.

2. What View does with your Google Account

View uses Google Sign-In to create your account (we receive your name and email address). Separately, and only if you choose to connect it, View can send email on your behalf through your own Gmail account, using Google's gmail.send permission.

Google Limited Use disclosure: View's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

Gmail access is used only to send outreach emails you have personally reviewed and approved inside the app — for no other purpose.
We do not read, view, or analyze the contents of your Gmail inbox — the gmail.send permission we request cannot read your mail, only send it.
Data obtained through Google APIs is never used for advertising, and is never sold or transferred to third parties except as needed to provide the sending feature itself (e.g. to Google's own servers to actually deliver the email).
No humans at View read your Gmail data. Automated systems only, for the sole purpose of sending the email you approved.

4. Third parties we share data with

We use the following services to run View. Each processes some data on our behalf:

Google — for sign-in, and to send email through your connected Gmail account if you use that feature. Governed by Google's own privacy policy. See the Limited Use disclosure above.
An AI model provider (Anthropic's Claude, accessed via OpenRouter) — scraped business context (not your personal account data, not your Gmail data) is sent to generate personalized draft text.
Supabase (database hosting) — stores your account and lead data, including your encrypted Gmail token if you've connected it.
Sentry (error monitoring) — receives limited technical error data if something breaks. Configured to exclude default personal data collection.
PostHog (usage analytics) — receives event data (e.g. "pipeline run," "email sent") tied to your email so we can see usage patterns, not detailed personal content or email bodies.

We do not sell your data, your Gmail data, or the scraped business contact data to anyone.

5. Data retention

Free-plan lead results are never stored — they exist only in your browser session. Paid-plan lead data is stored until you clear it yourself or request account deletion. Your Gmail connection (encrypted refresh token) is stored until you disconnect it in the app or request account deletion — disconnecting also revokes the app's access with Google directly. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete it.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your account data at any time by contacting abdulrehmanllc10@gmail.com. If you're in the EU/UK or California, you may have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA — the same contact applies. You can disconnect Gmail access yourself at any time from within the app, or directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

7. Scraped business data

The business contact information View surfaces is information the business itself has published publicly (e.g. on their own website), or that you supplied directly. We don't scrape private or gated information. If a business owner wants information about them removed from a paid user's stored leads, they can contact us at abdulrehmanllc10@gmail.com.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypting Gmail tokens at rest, but no system is 100% secure. We can't guarantee absolute security of information transmitted to or stored by the Service.

9. Children's privacy

View is not directed at, and should not be used by, anyone under 18.

10. International data transfers

The operator of View may be located in a different country than you. Your data may be processed in the United States, the EU, or elsewhere depending on where our service providers host their infrastructure.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
